Enfocom International Corp. (Enfocom) was established in Calgary in 1999 and specializes in consulting services, custom software development, security and sophisticated web applications. Starting with a team of experienced professionals the company has been growing steadily ever since. The company is located near downtown Calgary - one of Canada's major business centres.
Enfocom’s expertise in secure software development and IS security is evidenced by its continuous consulting services to a world leading defense contractor, General Dynamics Canada. Enfocom currently has a team of consultants working with them on the premises in a near mil spec environment. These talented individuals are engaged in project work on a number of aspects ranging from networking and network security, software design, coding and test, to writing special drivers and handlers for the Bowman project, which is currently being utilized by the British Government to update its military communications systems.
During its history, Enfocom has diligently tackled a number of complex applications with huge success. One of our major projects began in 2001 to develop a voting system for Advanced Voting Systems (AVS) in the United States. The voting system developed for AVS has to comply with strict federal and state standards for documentation, security and code quality. It involves working in a near mil spec environment. Ten software specialists worked full time on this project while continuing to develop new sub systems and providing support for the field team. The project was developed using the latest Microsoft .NET technology. To date the voting system has been sold to Fairfax County, Roanoke County and Arlington County in Virginia and Hinds County, Mississippi. Sales in several other states are pending.
